Why I Retired “Rich Way” and Started Using My Real Name

In 2024, I created a stage name Rich Way. It has a double meaning; it was simple and easy to remember.

I soon realized something there are many “Rich Ways” out there, rappers, producers, even motivational speakers using the same name. It started to feel like I was part of crowd instead of standing out. When I published my song "Call Your Bluff", it

ended up under another "Rich Way" page, it was a hassle to get my music separated,

I ultimately decided to take the song down and started to think of a more original artist name.

That's when I decided to drop the aliases and go with my real name: Rick Kazyaka as my artist's name. It’s unique, it’s me, and it carries the story of where I’ve been and where I’m going and eliminate the need to ever change the stage names again.

This change isn’t just cosmetic, it’s symbolic. It marks a new chapter in my creative journey, one where authenticity leads the way. I want listeners to know exactly who’s behind the music. No filters, no personas, just being authentic, the one & only, original: Rick Kazyaka.
